Examples of single and multi-camera shoots

One camera with operator

Considered to be the minimum requirement for any live performance or speaker on stage. It can be used to good effect when there is minimal action on stage, i.e. when there is only one presenter or performer. The vision mixer / director can cut between camera and PowerPoint or other computer generated images on screen to mask unwanted framing of shots between stage moves.

Two cameras with operators

Two cameras are far more versatile and can cover all stage action as the director "calls the shots". In the hands of our experienced director / vision mixer a more fluent and professional programme is produced on the big screen. With less or no real need to use graphics or other computer generated images to mask camera moves and framing, virtually no action is missed.

Three cameras with operators

This would be the ideal set up for concerts or stage events where there is lots of activity and movement on and around the stage. Three cameras with experienced operators is a good number to cover all the action. It doesn't have to stop there as the more cameras you have the better the production will look on screen. We only use professional, full time camera operators using top quality cameras (top of the range Sony DVCam cameras or XDCamEX cameras).
