Sony DSR500WSP DVCAM cameras

BIG TV insists on the best quality cameras in the wide screen format (16/9) to compliment their high quality screens.

The DSR500WSP’s are broadcast quality workhorses using the DVCAM format. They provide the best possible picture quality DVCAM can offer with 3 x 2/3inch Power HAD CCD chips producing 980/850 TV lines in either standard (4x3) or widescreen (6x9) mode. Widescreen pictures from this camera are true widescreen and NOT simulated.                                               

Also fitted to the camera is a 26 pin socket for component connection to a field recorder, CCU or outside broadcast/studio use. In other words the cameras are very versatile, produce superb results and are ideal for hooking up to Big TV’s 16/9 screens.

Cameras are supported with Vinten Vision 8 fluid heads for rock steady shooting and carbon fibre tripods legs for stability.
